The series ‘Anatoliy Kolersnikov guides Cascoland’ was shot in the summer of 2009 during a research trip on nomadic life by Cascoland in Kyrgyzstan, Central Asia. Only the name of guide/artist/survivor Anatoliy Kolesnikov is a poem in itself. This extraordinary man is the personification of independance and formed the perfect bridge between the city and the plains, between artist and nomad.

In 2011 this big friendly giant lost his life because of a tragic incident, incredibly unimaginable and sad news.
